Welcome to Motsay Warrior Trek 2025

At the Motsay Warrior Trek 2025, we are dedicated to raising awareness for Military Mental Health through our fitness event on October 18th at the University of Maine!

Background

Due to the loss of a beloved and respected Marine Officer Instructor, Captain Kenneth Motsay,  we will raise awareness about the suicide epidemic in the military to include veterans, active duty members, and military families. We will be participating in an event that will consist of a hike around the University of Maine bike trails in set teams from mid-morning to evening (0900-1730) on 18 OCT 2025.
We will collect a certain amount of donations per mile for each person hiking, running, or rucking this event. Or a flat donation for each team is also much appreciated. These contributions will be collected and given to the Summit Project and towards the Motsay Scholarship fund.

At 5PM at the Navy ROTC house on the University of Maine Campus, we will end the event by having a BBQ and a ceremony to honor Captain Kenneth Motsay.

If you are unable to participate in this event but still wish to help you can donate today with Venmo @UMaineNROTCRecfund76. Please comment your donation with MWT or a running emoji!
